Those qualifying guests will receive 15% off PREMIUM class and 10% off ROYAL class, when travelling between Victoria and Vancouver by ferry. Regular pricing, depending on the season, begins at $110 CDN for one-way for Premium class seats and $165 for Royal Class.

July 05th, 2018, Victoria, BC –Corporate and private events are enriched by exquisite surroundings, spectacular tree-clad shorelines, twinkling lights along the harbour, pristine comfort, and luxurious amenities onboard the V2V Empress, this ship is now available for group charters.

The 242-seat vessel is available for two-hour evening charters, cruising from Victoria’s Inner Harbour. The cruise provides an engaging and memorable experience for groups wishing to commemorate special milestones or ceremonies, companies celebrating retirements or product launches, team building sessions, press conferences or customer appreciation events.

The charters are available in the evenings from 7pm to 9pm for groups between 20 and 100 people, with pricing starting at C$7,000 plus taxes. The fee covers the charter cost and time for the crew. If a longer duration is required, staff at V2V can provide customized options.

Ergonomic leather seating, spectacular 360-degree views on the upper outside deck and premium service from staff are set to the standard of an upscale urban hotel.

The V2V Empress charter events depart and end from the Victoria Steamship Terminal and cruise along the Victoria coastline. However, other destinations are possible when coordinated through V2V staff.

V2V Vacations charts course for success with new leadership team

June 21, 2018, Victoria, BC – Sailing into its second year of operations providing a premium BC coastal cruise service between Vancouver and Victoria, BC, V2V Vacations has announced the leadership team who will chart the course for a successful 2018 season, aboard the V2V Empress

General Manager Julian Wright saw the potential Bryden Smith brought to the team when he was appointed senior master in 2017.  Wright is pleased to announce Smith has been promoted to vice president of operations and senior master, responsible for the safe and effective operation of the V2V Empress. Smith manages the crew, training, regulatory bodies and safety management systems for V2V Vacations. A Victoria, BC native, Smith brings more than a decade of experience in BC coastal ferry service, coupled with years of service as the captain of luxury expedition ships.

Brand new to the team is Brigitte Diem-Guy, as vice president sales and marketing.  Diem-Guy is responsible for all sales and marketing efforts including revenue management, communications, public relations, product development and community outreach. Her successful track record of navigating and building organizations during complex periods of rapid growth and change is proving invaluable to V2V.  She was previously vice president of sales and marketing for one of Canada’s leading hotel ownership and management companies.

As a well-respected local tourism professional, V2V Vacations’ Terminal Manger Stewart Turnbull brings 16 years of cruise industry experience, with 10 years’ experience as a cruise director with Celebrity Cruises.
